What are direct care payments?

Direct care payments are cash payments given to you to pay for your care instead of Dudley Council providing the care directly. This allows you greater choice and flexibility when deciding on the type and level of care you receive.

What Help is Available?

The council pays independent organisation A4E that can provide assistance and support with obtaining payments. They can be contacted on 0121 226 3510.

How can Castle and Crystal Help?

Castle and Crystal liaise with A4E to receive and manage Direct Care payments on your behalf. All you need to do is apply for membership to activate an account for your payments to be deposited. We can then forward funds via a bacs transfer to your carer on a regular basis.
